Mode of Action

Safeguard offer both systemic and contact action for comprehensive disease control. Carbendazim, a systemic fungicide, inhibits fungal cell division by disrupting microtubule formation, providing curative action. Mancozeb, a contact fungicide, interferes with multiple enzymes in fungal cells, preventing infection and growth. This combination provides a broad spectrum of activity, both preventing new infections and stopping existing ones.
