Katyayani Mal50 Insecticide

• Katyayani Malathion 50% EC is an emulsifiable concentrate formulation containing 50% malathion as the active ingredient. MODE OF ACTION

• Entry: Enters insects through contact, ingestion, or inhalation.
• Bioactivation: Converted to the more toxic malaoxon inside the insect.
• Mechanism: Malaoxon inhibits the enzyme acetylcholinesterase Katyayani MAL50 Malathion 50% EC(AChE), leading to an accumulation of acetylcholine (ACh) in nerve cells, causing overstimulation, muscle contractions, tremors, paralysis, and death

DOSAGE

• Large Scale Application: 250-300 ml per acre for foliar spray.
• Domestic Use: 7 ml per liter of water.
