About Product

• Paragold (Paraquat Dichloride 24% SL) is broad spectrum, non-selective & contact herbicide containing 24% Paraquat dichloride A.I which effectively controls broadleaved weeds & grasses.
• During photosynthesis superoxide generated, which damages cell membranes and cytoplasm.

Features

• An appropriate herbicide for the conservation and no-till agriculture (controls only the foil parts of the weed), thereby promoting intact roots and preventing soil erosion.
• It is used as post emergence directed application & pre-plant application in many crops.
• It damages cell membranes & cytoplasm during photosynthesis by producing superoxide.
• Within minutes of application, it gains non washing properties.

Mode of Action

• Non-Selective contact herbicide, absorbed by the foliage, with some translocation in the xylem.

• Crops -Tea, Target pest -Imperata cylindrica, Seteria sp., Commelina benhgalensis, Boerhavia hispida, Paspalum conjugatum , Dosage per acre - 340-1700 ml
• Crops -Potato, Target pest - Chenopodium sp., Angallis arvensis, Trianthema monogyna, Cyperus rotundus, Dosage per acre -424-850 ml
• Crops -Cotton, Target pest - Digera arvensis, Cyperus iria, Dosage per acre - 500-850 ml 
• Crops -Rubber, Target pest - Digitaria Sp., Eragrostis Sp., Fimbristylis Sp, Dosage per acre - 500-1000 ml"
