EBS AZOSPIRILLUM NITROGEN FIXING BIO FERTILIZER

• Azospirillum spp. i s a bio-fertilizer-based strain of Nitrogen-fixing bacteria. It is a free-living nitrogen-fixing bacteria, that lives freely in the soil, and multiplies by using organic matter, as the source of carbon (energy) for its growth and existence. The process of biological nitrogen fixation makes it available to plants in an easily utilizable form.

Usage

CROPS

• Groundnut, Soybean, Red-gram, Green-gram, Black-gram, Lentil, Cowpea, Bengal-gram, Fodder legumes.

MODE OF ACTION

• This micro-organism fixes the atmospheric nitrogen and makes it available to the crop. Azospirillum colonization is mainly on the root surface it enhances mineral and water uptake.

DOSAGE

• Dose: mix Azospirillum spp.at the rate of 3-5 ml per liter of water / Seed treatment / Drip irrigation / FYM. For individual plants 2 to 5 ml per liter of water and apply directly into the soil.
