• Delfin WG Bio Insecticide contains the Bacillus thuringiensis subsp. kurstaki (Btk) that offers reliable, broad-spectrum caterpillar control.
• Delfin is a biological insecticide most effective on lepidopteran larvae with stomach poison activity.
• Consists of the solid's active toxins, spores and subspecies for hard to kill insects such as Diamondback moth, Helicoverpa, Spodoptera and Lepidopteran caterpillars.

Delfin WG Bio Insecticide Technical Details

• Technical Name: Bacillus thuringiensis var kurstaki (Btk)
• Mode of Entry: Stomach poison
• Mode of Action: When Btk is eaten by a susceptible larva, the toxin is released, the midgut wall is destroyed, the gut becomes paralyzed, and the larva stops feeding within a few minutes. Destruction of the midgut wall allows the bacteria to enter the blood of the target insect, causing full-scale infection and death of the insect.
