  • Blue copper technical name - Copper Oxychloride 50 % WP
  • It is effectively controlling the fungus resistant to other fungicides. 
  • It sticks to the leaves due to its fine particles and helps to restrict the growth of the fungus. 
  • Blue Copper Fungicide gradually releases copper ions due to less solubility, thereby it controls the disease for a longer period.

  • Technical Content: Copper Oxychloride 50 % WP 
  • Mode of Entry: Contact fungicide 
  • Mode of Action: Blue Copper Fungicide involve the release of copper ions, which are toxic to fungal spores. These ions work by denaturing proteins and enzymes within the fungal cells, effectively disrupting their normal function. The copper ions bind to the sulphohydril groups of certain enzymes, which inactivates them and prevents the fungus from growing and reproducing.
