Product Description
About Product
- BACF Adrone is a new-generation, dual-action systemic fungicide formulated as a Suspension Concentrate (SC).
- It combines the properties of two advanced active ingredients to offer broad-spectrum control over a wide range of fungal diseases while improving overall crop health and yield.
Technical Content
- Azoxystrobin 18.2% + Difenoconazole 11.4% SC
Features
- Broad-Spectrum Control: Highly effective against multiple fungal strains that cause rusts, mildews, blights, and leaf spots.
- Three-Way Action: Acts preventively (stops infections before they start), curatively (cures established infections), and eradicatively (eliminates the pathogen).
- Translaminar Movement: Absorbed rapidly by leaves, protecting both the upper and lower surfaces of the foliage.
- Phytotonic Effect: Promotes healthier foliage and robust growth, which leads to better crop quality and higher yields.
Mode of Action
Adrone operates as a dual systemic fungicide with both protective and curative actions:
- Azoxystrobin (Preventive): Inhibits cellular respiration and spore germination at the early stages of fungal development, providing a strong protective barrier against new infections.
- Difenoconazole (Curative): Disrupts fungal cell membrane biosynthesis (ergosterol synthesis), stopping the growth and spread of an existing infection within the plant tissues.
- Mobility: It moves systemically through the plant's xylem, ensuring that newly growing plant parts are also protected from fungal attacks.
Dosage
- The standard recommended dosage for agricultural use is generally 150 to 200 ml per acre, diluted in 200 liters of water (approx. 1 ml per liter of water).
- For standard knapsack sprayers, use 20 ml per 15-liter pump.
Additional Information
Application Guidelines and Safety:
- Timing: Spray during the cooler hours of the day (early morning or late afternoon) to avoid rapid evaporation and chemical drift. Avoid applying on windy or rainy days.
- Coverage: Ensure uniform coverage of the crop canopy for maximum effectiveness. You may mix an adjuvant (spreader/sticker) for better adherence to the leaves.
- Safety Gear: Always wear protective gear, including gloves, goggles, and a mask, to prevent contact with skin and eyes. Do not eat, drink, or smoke during application.
- Pollinator Safety: Since it can be harmful to beneficial insects if misapplied, spraying during early morning or late evening minimizes the risk to active pollinators.
