Mode of Action

• The essential oils of basil contain eugenol, cineole, and linalool, which disrupt the nervous system of harmful insects and act as natural repellents.
• It creates a protective film on the leaf surface that discourages pest settlement and fungal growth.
• Stimulates enzyme and chlorophyll synthesis, improving photosynthesis and plant metabolism.
• Enhances nutrient absorption and supports faster recovery from stress (biotic and abiotic).

Dosage

• For Foliar Spray: 2.0–2.5 ml per litre of water Apply at 10–15-day intervals during active growth or pest-prone periods.
• For best results, ensure uniform coverage on both sides of leaves.
• For Drip/Soil Application: 500 ml–1 litre per acre, depending on crop and soil condition.
