Kabir is a cabbage variety specially suitable for the Tropical Region. It is noted for its good tolerance to heat and black rot. The plant features a strong big frame and produces attractive blue-green heads. This variety has good field-holding capability, lasting 15-20 days. The recommended sowing period is Late Summer and Rainy.

The head is a Semi Flat Round shape and Bluish Green color, classified in the Round-Late maturity segment. It is Very Compact, has a Good & Short core, and the head weight typically ranges from 1.5 to 2.0 Kg (main description) or 1.70 - 2.30 kg (practices table). Head maturity occurs between 70–75 days after transplanting (DAT), with the practices table listing 80–85 DAT. The general recommended sowing season according to the Package of Practices is Rainy.
