Atrahuge Herbicide

• The first pre-mixed herbicide for sugarcane and maize in India eliminates the need for chemical tank mixing. Mesotrione 2.27% w/w + Atrazine 22.7% w/w SC combine up the premix offered with the name of ATRAHUGE. For the control of Grasses, Broad Leaf Weeds, and Sedges in Sugarcane and Maize Crop, it is a Selective Post Emergence Herbicide. Due to the distinct modes of action of the two active ingredients, ATRAHUGE is a great resistance control solution. Mesotrione's mode of action prevents 4HPPD, and Atrazine (Triazine) prevents weed photosynthesis in the maize and sugarcane crops.

MODE OF ACTION

• Mesotrione inhibits HPPD enzyme. It is absorbed through the foliage and the root with both acropetal and basipetal translocation.
• Atrazine is a selective systemic herbicide which absorbed mostly through the roots, but it is also taken up by the foliage, moving acropetally through the xylem and accumulating in the apical meristems and leaves.
