Mode of Action

ZANET is a dual-action systemic formulation combining thiophanate-methyl, a benzimidazole fungicide, and kasugamycin, an aminoglycoside antibiotic. Thiophanate methyl systemically absorbed and converted into MBC (methyl benzimidazole carbamate) and inhibits fungal mitosis by blocking β-tubulin polymerization. Kasugamycin inhibits bacterial protein synthesis by binding to the 30S ribosomal subunit.
