SK Agrotech Brinjal Fruit & Shoot Borer Pheromone Lure (Leucinodes orbonalis)

About SK Agrotech Brinjal Fruit & Shoot Borer Pheromone Lure

SK Agrotech Brinjal Fruit & Shoot Borer Pheromone Lure (species-specific BFSB pheromone lure) by SK Agrotech is a ready-to-use lure designed to monitor and mass-trap Brinjal Fruit and Shoot Borer in brinjal crops. Fitted into a compatible pheromone trap, the lure releases a species-specific attractant that draws in male moths, helping farmers detect infestation early, bring down the pest population, and reduce the shoot and fruit damage that sprays alone struggle to control. Being an effective, non-toxic solution, it is safe for beneficial insects and well suited to IPM programmes in open-field and greenhouse brinjal cultivation.

Key Benefits of SK Agrotech Brinjal Fruit & Shoot Borer Pheromone Lure

SK Agrotech Brinjal Fruit & Shoot Borer Pheromone Lure Expert Advice

"For best results, use SK Agrotech Brinjal Fruit & Shoot Borer Pheromone Lure into your traps early in the crop cycle, well before flowering, since BFSB larvae bore into shoots and fruits soon after hatching and become impossible to reach with sprays. Install the traps evenly across the field, check catches regularly to reduce moth pressure, and remove and destroy wilted shoots and infested fruits to break the breeding cycle. Replace the lure on schedule and use it as part of an IPM programme for strong, season-long protection."
