Mode of Action

• It belongs to the triazine herbicide group and works by inhibiting photosynthesis in susceptible plants.
• When applied to the soil or foliage, Metribuzin is absorbed by the roots or leaves of target weeds.
• It then translocated throughout the plant, interfering with the photosynthetic process by disrupting electron transport and inhibiting the production of chlorophyll.
• This leads to a gradual yellowing and browning of the weeds, ultimately resulting in their death.
