• Tembotrione 34.4% SC is a selective, post-emergence herbicide used for controlling broadleaf and grassy weeds in maize (corn) crops by inhibiting the HPPD enzyme, which disrupts the synthesis of vital plant pigments. 
• This leads to a characteristic "bleaching" of weeds, followed by their death, while leaving the maize crop unharmed. 
• The formulation is a Suspension Concentrate (SC) and is often applied with a surfactant to improve its effectiveness.
