Zingala Insecticide Technical Details

• Technical Name: Pyrifluquinazon 20% WG
• Mode of Entry: Contact and Ingestion
• Mode of Action: Zingala binds and disrupts the gating of Nan-Iav TRPV (Transient Receptor Potential Vanilloid) channel complexes in insect chordotonal stretch receptor organs. Further, results in disruption of feeding, coordination and flight of whiteflies. Treated whiteflies will stop feeding rapidly and die from starvation and dehydration.

Method of Application: Foliar Spray

• First spray: 65 DAS (whitefly ETL 5-10/leaf)
• Second spray: 20-25 Days after 1st application (When whitefly population is above ETL)
