Frequently Asked Questions
Yoro insecticide is used to control white grubs in sugarcane, which damage roots and reduce crop growth.
Yoro contains Fipronil 40% + Imidacloprid 40% WG, which works through contact and systemic action.
The recommended dosage of Yoro insecticide is 800 ml per acre. Refer to the label instructions for crop-specific dosage.
Which crop is Yoro insecticide recommended for?
Yoro controls white grubs (root feeding insects) that damage the roots of sugarcane plants.
Yoro works in two ways:
- Contact action kills pests when they touch it
- Systemic action enters the plant and kills pests when they feed
Yoro is best applied at the time of planting to protect the crop from early root damage.
Mix 800 ml of Yoro Insecticide per acre in 300 litres of water and stir well. Apply it as a soil drenching at the time of planting around the root zone so it reaches the soil where white grubs are active for effective control.
