Virtako Insecticide is a new generation granular insecticide by Syngenta used to provide long-lasting control of Stem Borer in rice and corn, and Early Shoot Borer in sugarcane.

Virtako Insecticide is recommended for rice (paddy), maize, and sugarcane, especially where stem borer and early shoot borer problems are common.
Syngenta Virtako controls Stem Borer in rice and corn and Early Shoot Borer in sugarcane.
The recommended dosage of Virtako Insecticide is 2.5-4 kg per acre. Refer to the label instructions for crop-specific dosage.
Mix 2.5-4 kg of Virtake Insecticide per acre with 7–10 kg sand or fertilizer and spread it evenly in the field by hand. Apply when there is little moisture in the soil so it spreads properly and controls pests effectively.
Apply Virtako at the early stage of the crop:
- Rice: 20-30 days after transplanting
- Maize (Corn): 15-20 days after sowing
- Sugarcane: Within 0-30 days after planting
