Virat is an early maturity pumpkin variety that features high fruit set. It offers good tolerance to Virus, Powdery, and Downy Mildew. The fruit has a good shelf life and is suitable for longer transportation. The plant is very strong and vigorous with dense foliage. It is recommended for sowing during the Early Summer, Late Rainy, and Early Winter periods.

VIRAT Specifications

The fruit has a Semi Flat Round shape. The rind color is Dark green before maturity and turns Dark brown on maturity. The flesh becomes Yellow to Orange on maturity. It is classified in the Flat round-Green/Black segment. Fruit weight typically ranges from 3.0 – 3.5 kg (main description) or 4.0 - 4.5 kg (practices table). The first harvest occurs approximately 70–75 days after sowing (DAS) (main description) or 100-110 days (practices table)
