DESCRIPTION:

1. Okra is a crop of tropical and subtropical climate. It requires a long warm and humid growing season. The crop growth is vigorous during rainy season compared to spring summer. Seeds of okra fail to germinate below 20°C temperature and optimum temperature for seed germination is 29°C.

VARIETY DETAILS:

• Dark green tender fruits with excellent shelf life with 3 to 4 branches depending upon spacing
• Tall and erect with cut leaves; medium length with 5 ridges
• Average fruit weight 12 to 15gms
• High tolerance to okra leaf curl virus & YVMV
• Seed Rate: 10-20 Kg per acre
