Usage

CROPS
  • Banana, Citrus, Grapes, Pomegranate, Guava, Custard Apple, Papaya, Vegetables, Plantation Crops (Sugarcane, Tea, Coffee), Field Crops (Cotton, Corn, Potato)
MODE OF ACTION
  • Azotobacter chroococcum [NFB], Bacillus polymyxa [PSB], and B. licheniformis [KMB] are active ingredients of TB-3-Fertidose.
  • All the bacteria are compatible with each other and synergistically benefit plants by providing balanced nutrients, resulting in an increase in quality and yield. They can be easily formulated together as they produce cysts or spores as dormant forms.
  • When applied to soil, cysts/ spores germinate into actively metabolizing cells. The cells of both the Bacilli secrete organic acids to dissolve insoluble phosphates and potash in soil. The soluble P and K are made available for plants. This improves plant uptake of P and K fertilizers. Soluble P and K fertilizers get locked as insoluble forms in soil due to chemical reactions with carbonates in soil.
  • When TB-3-Fertidose is applied along with chemical fertilizers, Bacilli improves the fertilizer use efficiency by solubilizing locked phosphates and potash. Whereas Azotobacter fixes atmospheric nitrogen and supplies this amino nitrogen to plants.
  • In addition, these microbes also provide plant growth-promoting substances like IAA, siderophores, and antifungal metabolites. Thus due to the application of microbes in TB-3: Fertidose, plants benefit in multiple ways.
