- Mode of Action: Taboli Sumitomo is a PGR that contains chlormequat chloride, which blocks the synthesis of gibberellins, a hormone that stimulates plant growth. By lowering the gibberellin levels, Taboli limits the plant’s height and directs its energy and resources to flower and fruit production. This enhances the yield and quality of the crops by making the fruits and vegetables bigger and heavier
