Sun Bio Fe-Bac Technical Details

• Technical Name: Ferrous Mobilizing Bacteria (CFU: 2 x 109 Cells / ml)
• Mode of Action: Enzyme Production: Acidithiobacillus ferrooxidans release an iron oxidizes, which allows them to metabolize ferrous ions.
  Energy Metabolism: They require inorganic molecules as an electron donor and inorganic carbon (such as carbon dioxide) as a source. They obtain nutrients by oxidizing iron and sulphur with oxygen. it uses carbon from atmospheric carbon dioxide. The bacteria derive their metabolic energy by oxidation of reduced inorganic sulphur compounds or ferrous ions.
