Sumi Gold Technical Details

• Technical Name: Bispyribac Sodium 10% SC
• Mode of Entry: Systemic
• Mode of Action: SumiGold is a systemic herbicide that works by inhibiting the enzyme acetolactate synthase (ALS), which is crucial for the synthesis of essential amino acids in plants. When applied, it is quickly absorbed by the weeds and translocated to their growing points, where it disrupts protein synthesis, leading to the death of the weeds.

Additional Information

• Prior to Sumi Gold herbicide application, the field should be drained.
• The field should be re-flooded within a day after application and water should be maintained for at least 10 days post application.
• Use a flat fan or cut nozzle.
