About Product

  • GOLDMECTIN (Emamectin benzoate 1.9% EC) is a water-soluble liquid formulation containing 1.9% active ingredient and is recommended for the control of bollworms in Cotton; Leaf folder & hispa on Paddy; Green semilooper, Pod borer, Girdle beetle and Tobacco caterpillar on Soybean; pod borer on Checkpea; fruit borer & thrips on Chilli.
  • It is an insecticide with stomach action and should be ingested by the larvae to be most effective. Affected larvae become paralyzed and stop feeding shortly after exposure to Emamectin Benzoate 1.9% EC and subsequently die after 2-4 days

Features

  • Direct contact with skin, mouth, and inhalation must be avoided. 
  • Don’t spray the chemical while chewing tobacco, eating food or smoking.
  • Wear protective clothing like, rubber gloves, boots, face shield or dust mask while spraying.
  • To avoid spray drifts setting on body it is recommended to spray only in the direction of wind current and not against it.
  • Upon the completion of work clean the sprayers.

Mode of Action

  • Emamectin benzoate 1.9% E.C has both systemic and contact action.
  • Upon coming in contact with the chemical, the effect of neurotransmitter gets intensified in the insect pests.
  • This leads to disturbed neurotransmission. Further, the pests stop feeding on the plants and eventually die.

  • Field crops like Groundnuts, Cotton, Soybean, Safflower, all vegetables, all horticulture crops etc.Crop Dosage (ml/acre)
