Features

  • Boxer is an innovative insecticide that combines Novaluron 5.25% and Emamectin Benzoate 0.9% SC to deliver both contact and stomach action against major chewing pests.
  • Novaluron acts as an insect growth regulator (IGR), disrupting molting and egg development, while Emamectin Benzoate provides rapid knockdown by affecting the insect’s nervous system.
  • The formulation offers prolonged residual control, making boxer ideal for cotton, vegetables, pulses, and other field crops.
  • Dual-action formula for fast and lasting pest control Effective on all stages of insect development Excellent residual effect and rainfastness Safe on crops when used as directed Helps in managing insecticide resistance Improves crop vigor and productivity

Mode of Action

  • Novaluron is an insect growth regulator (IGR) having a unique mode of action of inhibiting chitin synthesis and targetting larval insect stages at the time of molting (abortive molting) and also has prolonged persistence, providing long-lasting control.
  • Emamectin benzoate acts if swallowed and has some contact action.
  • It penetrates into leaf tissues (translaminar activity) and forms a reservoir within the leaf.
  • It inhibits muscle contraction, causing a continuous flow of chlorine ions in the GABA and H-Glutamate receptor sites.

Dosage

  • Apply 150 to 200 ml per acre diluted in 200 liters of water as a foliar spray.
  • Use at the initial appearance of pest infestation for best results.
