Product Description

  • It acts synergistically with plants metabolism and promotes plant growth. It enhances the crop yield by increasing the physical efficiency of the crop and stimulating intracellular activity.

Technical Content

  • Gibberellic Acid 0.001 % L

Features & Benefits

FEATURES

  • Gibberellic acid (GA), a plant hormone stimulating plant growth and development, is a tetracyclic di-terpenoid compound.
  • GAs stimulates seed germination, trigger transitions from meristem to shoot growth, juvenile to adult leaf stage, vegetative to flowering, determines sex expression and grain development along with an interaction of different environmental factors viz., light, temperature and water
  • The major site of bioactive GA is stamens that influence male flower production and pedicel growth.
  • It is the active substance isolated from the soil borne fungus Gibberellic fujikuroi the concentration of GA 3 is usually highest in mature seeds.
  • Reaching up to 18 mg / kg fresh weight in Phaseolus species, but it decreases rapidly as the seed mature.

BENEFITS

  • Gibberellins have also been found effective in overcoming both kinds of dormancy, buds as wells as seeds.
  • Enhance metabolic activity - Mobilisation of reserve food material promotes growth and height, increase root actively and Kinetin production in root - translocate to growing Bud (GA3).
  • Shoot elongation - GA3 spray increase height of nursery seedlings
  • Delay senescence - Increase photosynthesis and proteins synthesis and thereby decrease abscission
  • Increase cambial growth and differentiation - Induce flower and fruit set (IAA + GA3)
  • Promote flowering in long day plants - Substitute for long day conditions and cold treatment (vernalizations)
  • Induction of parthenocarpy- Foe ex. Grapes
  • Breaking dormancy and leaf expansions

Usage

CROPS

  • All crops

MODE OF ACTION

  • Gibberellins bind to receptors within the cytoplasm of plant cells, forming a receptor-gibberellin complex. This complex then translocates to the nucleus, where it interacts with the gibberellin-delusion conjugate (GID1), a nuclear protein. Through this interaction, DELLA proteins are targeted for degradation via the proteasome pathway. As negative regulators of gibberellin signalling, the degradation of DELLA proteins relieves the repression of growth-promoting genes. Consequently, this process promotes stem elongation, seed germination, and flowering induction.

DOSAGE

  • 180 ml per 500 Liter of water
