Product Description

About MULTIPLEX RUBY FE (IRON FE EDTA - 12 %)

  • Ruby Fe is an iron micronutrient mixture offered by Multiplex.
  • It contains iron in chelated form (Fe EDTA - 12 %).
  • The chelated form of iron makes it easily available to the plant when applied as foliar spray.

Ruby Fe Composition & Technical Details

  • Composition: Contains Ferrous (Fe) 12.0% in the form of Fe EDTA (Ethylene Diamine Tetra Acetic Acid)
  • Mode of Action: Fe is chelated with EDTA, which protects it from reacting with other elements in the soil and ensures that it remains available for plant uptake. When used as a foliar application, it is rapidly absorbed into the leaves. Once in the plant, Fe is transported to various locations where it is needed for critical operations.

Ruby Fe Key Features & Benefits

  • Multiplex Ruby Fe plays a crucial role in oxidation-reduction reactions, nitrate reduction, sulphate reduction, N-fixation, N and S assimilation etc.
  • It also helps in increasing the defense enzymes in plants.
  • Iron present in Multiplex Ruby Fe helps in chlorophyll formation.
  • Aids in the activation of a number of biochemical processes within the plant.

Ruby Fe Usage & Crops

Recommended Crops: All crops

Dosage: Dissolve 0.5 g in one litre of water

Method of Application: Foliar spray

  • It should be applied on both sides of the leaf.

Additional Information

  • Multiplex Ruby Fe is generally compatible with many other agricultural products, but there are a few considerations to keep in mind.
  • Always add Multiplex Ruby Fe to the spray tank first, followed by other products. This helps ensure proper mixing and effectiveness.
  • Ensure the pH of the spray solution is within the recommended range (usually slightly acidic) to maintain the stability of the chelated iron.
  • Before mixing with other products, perform a small jar test to check for any adverse reactions such as precipitation or clumping.
  • Avoid mixing with highly alkaline products as they can reduce the effectiveness of the chelated iron.
