Mode of Action

• It is a broad-spectrum insecticide that kills insects upon contact by affecting the normal function of the nervous system.
• When insects are exposed, chlorpyrifos binds to the active site of the cholinesterase (ChE) enzyme, which prevents breakdown of ACh in the synaptic cleft.
• It is a non-systemic insecticide with contact, stomach and respiratory action.

Dosage

• For Garden Use: Use 33 g of Chloro GR per litre of water.
• For Agriculture Use: Add 4kg of Chlorpyriphos 10% GR per acre
