• Technical Name: Beauveria Bassiana 1.15% WP (1x108 CFU/g)
• Mode of Entry: Contact or by ingestion
• Mode of Action: It contains spore and mycelia fragments of Beauveria bassiana the spores of the fungus when comes in contact with the cuticle of the target pest insect it germinates and grows directly through the spiracle in the cuticle into the inner body of the host by taking nutrients from the insect proliferates produces a toxin called Beauvericin that weakens the host’s immune system. and colonizes the entire insect thus drains the nutrients and the infected insects die. After the insect dies an antibiotic is produced that enables the fungus to outcompete intestinal bacteria.

Katyayani Beauveria Bassiana Usage & Crops

Recommended Crops: Papaya, Sapota and Watermelons, Cotton, Ground nut, Tomato, Brinjal, Chilli, Capsicum, Okra, Pea, Cowpea, French bean, Bottle gourd, Bitter gourd, Ridge gourd, Sponge gourd, Cucumber, Cabbage, Cauliflower, Mangos, Western Flower Thrips, Banana Fresh & Other Fruits and Vegetables.

Target Pest: Aphids, Thrips, Whitefly, mealy bugs, Jassids Termites, grubs, beetles, American Bollworm

Dosage: 5 ml/L of water

Method of Application: Foliar Spray

• Soil Application for root grubs: 750 ml – 1 liter/acre by drenching or can be mixed with 250 kg of organic fertilizer or field soil and can be applied uniformly.
• Drip System: 1 liter / acre by drip irrigation.

Additional Information

• Katyayani Beauveria Bassiana is compatible with half dose of the chemical insecticides. But do not mix with fungicides.
