Samridhi Rhizobium Biofertilizer (Nitrogen Fixing Bacteria)

• Samridhi Bio Rhizo is a soil bacterium which fixes atmospheric nitrogen in symbiotic association with leguminous crops. Rhizobium enters the root hairs of leguminous crops, multiply in adjoining cells, form pinkish root nodules containing leg haemoglobin which help in fixing the atmospheric nitrogen in forms of organic compounds.

FEATURES

• Rhizobium is able to convert tryptophan into Indole acetic acid (IAA) in the roots which enhances root development and plant growth.
• The residual N available to subsequent non-leguminous crops is around 20-30 kg/ha. The beneficial effect is seen as saving of N through organic means.
