Agenor Trichoderma Asperellum 2% W.P. is a potent bio-fungicide designed to effectively control Foot Rot disease in paddy crops. Trichoderma Asperellum, a species of biocontrol agent, harnesses enzymatic and chemical defenses to combat pathogens. It outcompetes pathogens by rapid growth, produces over 200 antibiotics and enzymes like protease and chitinase, inhibiting pathogen growth. This bio fungicide is particularly effective against Bakane disease caused by Gibberella fujikuroi in rice fields.

Trichoderma competes for resources, produces growth-promoting substances, and employs mycoparasitism. Enzymes like protease and chitinase aid in biocontrol. Trichoderma's enzymes can be used in transgenic plants for pathogen defense. Trichoderma asperellum is effective Bio fungicide against Bakanae disease by inhibiting Gibberella fujikuroi.
