SPECIFICATIONS:

• Dr. Bacto’s VBM has consortia of fungi like Verticillium lecanii, Beauveria bassiana and Metarhizium anisopliae which are entomopathogenic fungi.
• These are natural mortality agents and environmentally safe used for biological control of insects and other arthropod pests.

MODE OF ACTION:

• The general mode of infection comprises six stages inthe following order: adhesion, germination, appressorium formation, penetration, colonization of haemolymph, extrusion with sporulation which can also be found in other entomopathogenic fungi.
• In this way any entomopathogenic fungi infect the host and kill it.
• Benefits: It used for biological control of insects and other arthropod pests.
• Target Pests: Effective against all insects and other arthropod pests.
• Recommended Crops: For all crops

DOSAGE:

• Soil Application – 1-1.5 Kg per hectare;
• Foliar application – 1 gm per liter of water
