About Product

• Dr. Bacto’s 5G Dermus is an effective biological fungicide made in capsule-based form.
• This fungicide is made from mycoparasitic fungi Trichoderma viride.
• It effectively controls soil borne pathogenic fungi such as Fusarium spp., Pythium spp. and Rhizoctonia spp.

• Technical Name: Trichoderma viride
• Mode of Entry: Contact
• Mode of Action: Its fungal mycelium tightly coils around the body of the pathogenic fungus. It produces antibiotics called viridins and gliotoxin. This adversely affects the growth of pathogenic fungi and helps to control disease. Trichoderma viride overgrows on the body of the pathogenic fungus, limiting the growth of it.
