MODE OF ACTION

• CLEANEX is absorbed by the leaves of the weeds and then translocated throughout the plant. It accumulates in the chloroplasts, which are the plant's "powerhouses". Once it reaches the chloroplasts, paraquat dichloride disrupts the electron transport chain, which prevents the plant from producing energy.
