• It falls under the meta-diamide group (IRAC Group 30). The active ingredient in Alecto is Broflanilide.

• Technical Name: Broflanilide 20% SC
• Mode of Entry: Contact & ingestion
• Mode of Action: Alecto Indofil binds to GABA receptors and inhibits transmission of nerve signals by altering the properties of GABA receptors. This results in the over-excitement of the nervous system, causing uncontrolled, involuntary movement and, ultimately, death of insect.
