Mode of Action

• Protection Against Fixation: EDTA (Ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid) acts as a protective shield around metal ions, preventing them from reacting with phosphorus, carbonates, or hydroxides in the soil, particularly in high-pH or alkaline conditions.
• Enhanced Mobility and Uptake: The chelated complex remains highly water-soluble, allowing it to stay dissolved and easily transported to the root surface, where plants can absorb it efficiently.
• Rapid Foliar Absorption: When applied to leaves, EDTA chelates improve absorption speed and translocation to, or within, plant tissues.

Dosage

• Foliar spray (most effective): 0.5 to 1 gram per liter of water Spray during early morning or evening
• Soil application: 0.5 to 1 kg per acre (mixed with fertilizer or sand)
• Drip irrigation (fertigation): Dissolve and apply as per crop requirement
