- Okra is a crop of tropical and subtropical climate. It requires a long warm and humid growing season.
- The crop growth is vigorous during rainy season compared to spring summer. Seeds of okra fail to germinate below 20°C temperature and optimum temperature for seed germination is 29°C
- Variety details:
- Dark green tender fruits with excellent shelf life with 3 to 4 branches depending upon spacing
- Tall and erect with cut leaves; medium length with 5 ridges
- Average fruit weight 12 to 15gms
- High tolerance to okra leaf curl virus & YVMV
- Seed Rate: 10-20 Kg per acre
