ANAND AGRO DR. BACTO’S VERTIGO 4K VERTICILLIUM LECANII

SPECIFICATION:

• Dr. Bacto’s Vertigo 4K has the fungus Verticillium lecanii which is entomopathogenic fungi which controls mealy bugs of citrus. These are natural mortality agents and environmentally safe used for biological control of insects and other arthropod pests.

MODE OF ACTION:

• The spores of Verticillium lecanii get attached to the cuticle of insects on contact. The fungus gains entry through the cuticle by enzymes.
• It infects insect by producing hyphae from germinating spores that penetrate the insect cuticle/integument.
• Once entered it start to proliferate inside the host and eventually leads to its death.
• Benefits: It used for biological control of insects and other arthropod pests.
• Target Pests: Effective against all soft body sucking pests like Thrips, Mealy bugs, White flies, Jassids, etc.
• Recommended Crops: For all crops

DOSAGE:

• Soil Application – 1-1.5 Kg per hectare; Foliar application – 1 gm per liter of water
