• Technical Name: Imidacloprid 17.8% SL
• Mode of Entry: Systemic, Contact and stomach action
• Mode of Action: IMD-178 is a systemic insecticide with translaminar activity. It is readily taken up by the plant and further distributed acropetally, with good root-systemic action. It is an antagonist that binds to postsynaptic nicotinic receptors in the insect central nervous system, eventually causing death of the insects.
