• Mode of Action: Lepido Insecticide operates through a unique mode of action known as “Power Cut Action.” This involves disrupting the energy generation process within the insect’s cells. Specifically, Lepido targets mitochondria, the powerhouse of the cell, by inhibiting the production of ATP (adenosine triphosphate), which is essential for energy transfer within the cell. This disruption leads to the insect’s death due to energy depletion.
