• Technical Name: Pymetrozine 50% WG
• Mode of Entry: Systemic
• Mode of Action: BPH Super acts as a feeding inhibitor. It causes the insects to withdraw their stylets and stop feeding within an hour. It paralyses hind legs of pests, results in dropping from plants & then pests die later from starvation. Pymetrozine also prevents insects from laying eggs, reducing the population over time.

• Recommended Crops: Rice
• Target Pest: Brown plant hopper (BPH), Aphids and Whiteflies
• Dosage: 1 – 1.5 gm/L of Water & 120-150 gm/Acre.
• Method of Application: Foliar Application (Repeat the spray, based on pest incidence)

Additional Information

• Its WG formulation allows ease of use as it does not produce dust while measuring and mixing.
• For optimal control of resistant plant hoppers, apply at the panicle initiation stage (55-60 days after transplanting) for excellent results.
• Maximum two sprays to be given starting first spray at initial pest infestation reaching Economic Threshold Level (ETL).
