About Suntech Sunvic Fungicides

• SUNVIC Fungicide is a Suntech Agriscience product. It contains Tricyclazole 75% WP. It is a highly specialized, systemic triazolobenzothiazole fungicide formulated as a wettable powder (WP), delivering exceptional preventative and curative action specifically targeting all stages of blast disease.
• SUNVIC Fungicide is used against leaf blast, collar rot, node blast, and neck blast (Magnaporthe oryzae / Pyricularia oryzae). It is primarily recommended on paddy (rice) as well as other blast-susceptible cereal crops.

Mode of Action

• Mode of Entry: Rapidly absorbed by foliage and root systems through acropetal systemic movement and translocated upward to new growing shoots within hours of application.
• Mode of Action: Melanin Biosynthesis Inhibitor (MBI-D) that specifically inhibits the enzyme polyhydroxynaphthalene reductase, preventing melanin accumulation in fungal appressoria and thereby blocking mechanical penetration into the host plant tissue.

Dosage per Acre

• Per Litre of Water: 0.6 g – 0.8 g (approx. 10 g – 12 g per 15-litre spray pump)
• Per Acre (Foliar Spray - Leaf & Neck Blast): 120 g – 160 g in 150–200 litres of water (first spray at early appearance of leaf blast or booting stage; repeat spray at heading/flowering for neck blast prevention)
