• SUNPUNCH Herbicide is a Suntech Agriscience product.
• It contains Glufosinate Ammonium 13.5% SL.
• It is a broad-spectrum, non-selective, post-emergence contact herbicide with limited systemic action, formulated as a soluble liquid concentrate (SL) for the effective control of tough annual and perennial broadleaf weeds, grasses, and sedges.                                           
• SUNPUNCH Herbicide is used against Cynodon dactylon (Bermuda/Doob grass), Cyperus rotundus (nutsedge), Echinochloa spp. (barnyard grass), Eleusine indica (goosegrass), Commelina benghalensis, Digitaria spp., Ageratum conyzoides, Parthenium hysterophorus, and Borreria hispida.
• It is recommended for directed application in cotton, tea, plantation crops, fruit orchards, and for non-cropped areas/bund management.

Mode of Action

• Mode of Entry: Absorbed primarily through active green foliage and stems; exhibits rapid contact action with limited translaminar and local movement within treated plant tissue.
• Mode of Action: Glutamine Synthetase (GS) Inhibitor (HRAC Group 10 / H). It blocks the glutamine synthetase enzyme, leading to the rapid accumulation of toxic ammonia ions in plant cells and the inhibition of photosynthesis (photosystem I & II), causing membrane disruption, chlorosis, desiccation, and complete weed knockdown within 3–5 days.

Dosage per Acre

• Per Litre of Water: 5.0 ml – 7.5 ml (approx. 75 ml – 100 ml per 15-litre spray pump; use 10 ml per litre for mature, perennial grasses like Cynodon / Cyperus
• Per Acre (Directed / Inter-Row Post-Emergence Spray): 1000 ml – 1200 ml in 150–200 litres of water (using flat-fan or floodjet nozzle with spray hood)
