About Suntech Sun Copper Fungicides

• SUN COPPER Fungicide & Bactericide is a Suntech Agriscience product.
• It contains Copper Oxychloride 50% WP (equivalent to 50% metallic copper).
• It is a broad-spectrum, multi-site protective inorganic copper formulation in a fine wettable powder (WP) form, providing outstanding preventative shield action against a wide range of fungal and bacterial crop diseases.
• SUN COPPER is used against early blight, late blight, anthracnose, fruit rot, dieback, leaf spots, downy mildew, citrus canker, bacterial spot, black rot, damping off, foot rot, and clump rot (Koleroga).
• It is recommended on tomato, potato, chilli, citrus, grapes, cardamom, coffee, tea, pomegranate, banana, and paddy (rice).

Mode of Action

• Mode of Entry: Non-systemic, contact preventative fungicide/bactericide that deposits a durable protective chemical barrier over the plant surface, foliage, stems, and fruits.        
• Mode of Action: Multi-site contact action (FRAC Group M01) that gradually releases active cupric ions in the presence of moisture; these ions penetrate pathogen cells, nonspecifically denaturing vital proteins, disrupting enzyme systems, and damaging cellular membranes to halt spore germination and bacterial proliferation.

Dosage per Acre

• Per Litre of Water (Foliar Spray): 2.5 g – 3.0 g (approx. 40 g – 50 g per 15-litre spray pump)
• Per Acre (Foliar Application): 500 g – 1000 g in 200–300 litres of water (depending on crop type, canopy volume, and disease pressure) Soil Drenching / Nursery Bed Treatment: 3.0 g per litre of water (for damping off, root rot, and foot rot management)
