About Suntech Pyrix 2.5 Insecticides

• PYRIX 2.5 Insecticide is a Suntech Agriscience product.
• It contains Lambda-Cyhalothrin 2.5% EC.
• It is a broad-spectrum, cost-effective synthetic pyrethroid insecticide formulated as an emulsifiable concentrate (EC), delivering fast knockdown, strong contact, and stomach action with repellent properties.
• PYRIX 2.5 Insecticide is used against bollworms, shoot and fruit borers, leaf folders, stem borers, diamondback moths (DBM), thrips, jassids, aphids, and green leafhoppers.
• It is recommended on cotton, paddy (rice), chilli, tomato, brinjal, okra, cabbage, pulses, and oilseeds.

Mode of Action

• Mode of Entry: Acts rapidly via direct contact and stomach (ingestion) absorption, alongside strong repellent and anti-feedant properties that deter pests from crop foliage.
• Mode of Action: Type II synthetic pyrethroid that disrupts voltage-gated sodium channels in the nerve axonic membranes of insects, causing continuous nerve impulse transmission, tremors, rapid knockdown, paralysis, and death.

Dosage per Acre

• Per Litre of Water: 1.5 ml – 2.0 ml (approx. 25 ml – 35 ml per 15-litre spray pump)
• Per Acre (Foliar Spray): 300 ml – 500 ml in 150–200 litres of water (for field crops, cotton, paddy, and vegetables)
