• PENDI GRAND Herbicide is a Suntech Agriscience product.
• It contains Pendimethalin 38.7% CS.
• It is an advanced, broad-spectrum selective pre-emergence and pre-plant incorporation dinitroaniline herbicide formulated using innovative Capsule Suspension (CS) technology, delivering superior, long-lasting residual control against a wide range of annual grasses and broadleaf weeds.
• PENDI GRAND Herbicide is used against Echinochloa colona, Echinochloa crus-galli, Digitaria sanguinalis, Dinebra arabica, Dactyloctenium aegyptium, Brachiaria mutica, Portulaca oleracea, Amaranthus viridis, Euphorbia geniculata, Trianthema portulacastrum, and Parthenium hysterophorus.
• It is recommended for cotton, soybean, chilli, onion, groundnut, garlic, cumin, mustard, pulses, and potato.

Mode of Action

• Mode of Entry: Absorbed primarily by the emerging roots (radicle) and developing shoots (mesocotyl/coleoptile) of germinating weed seedlings from the treated topsoil layer.  
• Mode of Action: Microtubule Assembly Inhibitor (HRAC Group 3 / K1). It binds to tubulin protein molecules and arrests microtubule polymerization, inhibiting mitosis (cell division and elongation) in weed root and shoot meristems, preventing weed seed emergence and establishment.

Dosage per Acre

• Per Litre of Water: 3.5 ml – 4.5 ml (approx. 50 ml – 70 ml per 15-litre spray pump)
• Per Acre (Pre-Emergence Soil Spray): 600 ml – 700 ml (or 700 ml – 1000 ml depending on soil texture/organic matter) in 150–200 litres of water using a knapsack sprayer fitted with a flat-fan or floodjet nozzle.
• Application Window: Apply within 0 to 3 days after sowing or before/just after transplanting onto a well-prepared, firm, clod-free, and moist seedbed.
