• CIDAL SUPER Insecticide is a Suntech Agriscience product.
• It contains Profenofos 40% + Cypermethrin 4% EC.
• It is a powerful, broad-spectrum pre-mix insecticide combining an organophosphate and a synthetic pyrethroid in an emulsifiable concentrate formulation, offering fast knockdown with contact, stomach, and ovicidal action.
• CIDAL SUPER Insecticide is used against bollworm complexes (American, pink, and spotted bollworms), tobacco caterpillars (Spodoptera litura), diamondback moths (DBM), fruit and shoot borers, aphids, jassids, thrips, whiteflies, and mites.
• It is recommended on cotton, chilli, tomato, brinjal, cabbage, okra, soybean, pulses, and tea.

Mode of Action

• Mode of Entry: Penetrates plant tissues via translaminar movement and acts against target insects through direct contact, stomach (ingestion), and ovicidal action.
• Mode of Action: Synergistic dual-action mode where Profenofos inhibits acetylcholinesterase (AChE) and Cypermethrin modulates voltage-gated sodium channels in insect nerve axonic membranes, causing rapid nervous system disruption, paralysis, and pest death.

Dosage per Acre

• Per Litre of Water: 2.0 ml – 2.5 ml (approx. 30 ml – 40 ml per 15-litre spray pump)
• Per Acre (Foliar Spray): 400 ml – 600 ml in 150–200 litres of water (for cotton, vegetables, soybean, and pulses)
