Mode of action

• Azotobacter chroococcum, a nitrogen-fixing strain, serves as the active ingredient in Vitormone.
• Its dormant cysts germinate on leaves with oxygen, water, and a carbon source, forming colonies.
• These colonies produce amino acids by fixing atmospheric nitrogen and secrete beneficial substances like alginates, vitamins, IAA, and siderophores.
• The amino acid nitrogen and growth promoters are readily absorbed by plant leaves, enhancing plant vigor and promoting better flowering and fruiting onset.
