Amicus Technical Details

  • Technical Name: Metolachlor 50% EC
  • Mode of Entry: Selective and systemic
  • Mode of Action: Amicus acts by inhibiting chlorophyll and protein synthesis in target plants. It is absorbed by growing shoots and to some extent by roots of germinating weed seed. Also acts as a long-chain fatty acid inhibitor (Seedling Shoot growth inhibitor).
