Tafaban Insecticide Technical Details

  • Technical Content: Chlorpyrifos 20% EC
  • Mode of Entry: Non-systemic with contact stomach and fumigant action
  • Mode of Action: Chlorpyrifos is a broad-spectrum insecticide which kills insects upon contact by affecting the normal function of the nervous system. It affects the nervous system by inhibiting the breakdown of acetylcholine (ACh), a neurotransmitter.

  • Method of Application: Foliar spray, soil drenching, seedling dip, and seed treatment

  • Tafaban Insecticide exhibits synergistic action with Cypermethrin and Deltamethrin.
